A lot of you have been reacting to the segment this morning on the retouched photo of Kelly Clarkson on the cover of Self Magazine.
After the segment, the editor-in-chief of Self, Lucy Danziger posted to her blog:
Wow. What a week. I have been inundated with requests to be on TV about the Kelly Clarkson cover, and I just finished an appearance on the Today show with the beautiful Emme and the calm and gorgeous Meredith, and the messages are so important to get across, here again is what I want to say:
I am being honest about retouching. This cover is an honest representation of how Kelly Clarkson looked on the day of our shoot, despite the fact that others have said she was drastically altered. Just not true.
