Love is in the air at TODAY with two proposals!

There have been not one but TWO proposals in the TODAY family! And the answer to both was a resounding yes.

TODAY contributor Peter Alexander popped the question to fellow journalist Alison Starling in a very romantic fashion:

Says Peter:

"I proposed to Alison on the giant lawn beneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris Saturday night -- just as the Tower's lights were sparkling (as they do at the top of each nighttime hour). I fumbled through my first couple lines (no TelePrompter!), and then launched right back in. Fortunately, she said yes!

"Alison and I met as reporters at competing local news stations in Seattle back in 2001. We went on a single date on her last night there, stayed friends and reconnected more recently on the East Coast.

"I love her very much -- she's fantastic! -- and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!"

And TODAY contributor Lee Cowan and Associate Producer Molly Palmer, who met while covering the infamous "Balloon Boy" incident, got engaged in July in Hawaii, after Lee pulled a super-stealth move and asked Molly's parents for permission.

Says Molly:

"Lee joined the Burbank bureau in the spring of '09 so we had worked together for about 6 months or so before Balloon Boy but we really got to know each other then. We spent a week in Fort Collins when the story first broke along with (NBC News producer) Mark Hudspeth, who came to the bureau with Lee after they both worked on the Obama campaign.

"One thing that impresses me most about the way Lee proposed is that he managed to get to Washington, DC to talk to my parents about our engagement without me having any idea he was there. I was in Anchorage with Al Roker for Lend A Hand in June and I knew Lee was in NY for the weekend but he took the train to Washington for a night to stay with my family. I remember talking to my parents and to Lee separately that night on the phone and never suspected that they were under the same roof!

"We flew to Kauai on July 15th and Lee proposed the next night on Saturday, July 16th on the beach at sunset! We had a great vacation and came back to work in Burbank last week where all of our lovely coworkers have been expressing their well wishes.

"No additional details on the wedding yet, but my mother, Nancy Palmer, who is a writer for the Huffington Post, is certainly on top of it and already sending us links to photographers and bands in Washington so it should be a fun celebration!"

Congratulations to everybody!
