As TODAY launched its official Super Bowl ad face-off Monday morning, Matt recalled his personal favorite — a Reebok spot featuring "Terry Tate," the office linebacker.

The ad stars a football player who roams the office, tackling any employees who don't follow proper workplace protocol. As Matt quoted (and quoted) the commercial during Monday's broadcast, Al remembered that TODAY had actually made a spoof of the ad 11 years ago after it first aired during Super Bowl XXXVII.

Lester Speight, the actor who plays Terry Tate in the ad (and who once went by the wrestling name "Rasta"), joined Al Roker for the Jan. 28, 2003 broadcast of TODAY to chat about his role in the commercial.

"It was quite fun for me to make this," Speight told Al at the time. "To have people sitting there like a duck, just waiting for that impact. I loved it."

He then proceeded to mention that TODAY had quite a few workplace issues of its own, seguing into the anchors' spoof of the classic ad. Watch Terry Tate lay a hit on Al and intimidate Matt into properly disposing of his recyclables:
