Posted on July 8 at 11 p.m. ET: Lady Gaga is set to perform on Rockefeller Plaza Friday morning, and fans started arriving more than 33 hours beforehand to get the best spot.

The hot weather hasn't kept them from lining the streets. Fans from Washington, Ohio, New Jersey and even South Africa and Ireland are ready and waiting to see Gaga rock the Plaza on Friday.

Dressed in their homemade Gaga-inspired costumes, Gaga's "little monsters" (as she calls them) have no problem spending the night on the street because they love her.

"She's extravagant! She doesn't care what anyone else thinks and her music is fantastic," said Jemma Gibb from South Africa.
