For Josh Elliott, it was a "perfect" day.
The NBC Sports anchor and TODAY contributor married fellow broadcaster Liz Cho, an anchor at WABC-TV, in a private ceremony on Saturday in Montecito, California, on Saturday. The Weather Channel's Sam Champion, a former colleague of Elliott's at Good Morning America, officiated the wedding.
This is the second marriage for Elliott and Cho, both 44, who each have a daughter from their previous marriages. Elliott's daughter, Sarina, 6, and Cho's daughter, Louisa, 8, served as Cho's bridesmaids. The wedding came just three weeks after the sudden death of Elliott's mother from septic shock. The bridesmaids put flowers on an empty chair in her memory, according to People.
