TODAY brought a New Zealand tradition to Studio 1A this morning.

Duchess Kate receives a Maori welcome known as a Hongi from Maori Elder Lewis Moeau at the official welcome ceremony for her and Prince William in Wellington, New Zealand, Monday, April 7, 2014.Today

After seeing Will and Kate, who are touring New Zealand and Australia with Prince George in tow, receive a Maori nose-rub welcome known as a hongi, Matt and Al couldn't resist trying it out.
