Ann Curry has bungee-jumped, sky-dived and swam with sharks -- but as she gets set to become TODAY's next co-host in June, she hit Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" couch to tell him the scariest moment of her 14-year tenure.
It was performing stand-up comedy in front of a live audience. "I had never done something like that before," she told Jay. "It was horrifying."
Another moment Ann "thinks about with great humiliation"? Velcro jumping on the plaza. Wearing Velcro suits, she had to leap onto a bouncy platform and stick to a Velcro wall. How did she do? She didn't even get off the ground. "Pathetic," she joked to Jay.
Ann got personal, too, and talked about bringing her boyfriend -- who later became her husband -- home to meet her parents.
