So that's where the Bronx Zoo cobra went!
Ann Curry, when opening a can of chips that Matt Lauer gave her a minute earlier, was surprised to find a purple snake toy -- or as Matt called it, the Bronx Zoo cobra -- pop out at her.
"I could kill you," Ann joked after jumping in shock. Watch her reaction below:
She wasn't the only TODAY host to get pranked.
Kathie Lee and Hoda were joined by "Fantastic Danny the magician." He turned out to be ... well... no so fantastic. "Maybe he's been dipping into our wine," Hoda said.
After Danny's third failed trick, Kathie Lee caught on. Seconds later College Humor's Streeter Seidell and Amir Blumenfeld -- both experts at pranks -- walked out, admitted their joke and wished our hosts a happy April Fools' Day.
