YouTube Used As A Forum For Punishment By Court |

A court ruling forced two teens to make a public YouTube apology for posting their water-in-the-whole prank on the website, reported the Christian Science Monitor. The teens drove up to a Taco Bell near Orlando, ordered a soda and poured it in Employee Jessica Ceponis face, the Monitor reported. The boys recorded the incident and posted it on YouTube. A court ruled that an apology be filmed and posted on YouTube. The teens also had to serve 100 hours of community service and write apologies to the victims before charges of battery and criminal mischief are dropped. Fox News reported that the Ceponis is still not satisfied. She expressed her feelings on the Today Show. "I don't think the lesson is completely learned, because they are still young, and, to some of their friends, this is going to make them heroes," Ceponis said. [ Full article ] |
