Why are GOP heavy hitters signing on as endorsers for Maria Baier?

Name prominently displayed as Republican for Janet Two separate mailers for City Council candidate, Maria Baier, arrived in mailboxes today. They were delivered in tandem with phone calls made on her behalf. Early ballots, which the city said will account for approximately 80 percent of the votes cast, are already in citizen's hands. So the question fairly screams: Why would Republicans such as U.S Sen. Jon Kyl, Sen. and Republican Presidential candidate John McCain, Congressman John Shadegg, State Senator Barbara Leff and County Supervisor Andy Kunasek, endorse a woman who had her name prominently displayed on the Republicans for Janet (Napolitano) website? There's no surprise in the left-leaning Phil Gordon endorsement. But our Republican leaders should be ashamed. There was a time such actions, contrary to the GOP would have been anathema. They are worthy of condemnation today. The Napolitano website, you might recall was chock-full of McCain operatives. Connect
