Financial problems are one of the most common reasons that people get divorced and/or split-up. Knowing how to handle your money is one thing, but when you introduce another person’s financial situation, things can get complicated. The reason that financial issues end up to be so stressful is that money permeates through just about every daily situation in our lives. We need money for rent (or mortgage), food to eat, gas to get to work, and the list goes on. When you start to lack it, it hits you where it hurts. The stress of financial issues and trying to manage money can divide just about any couple, so it’s important that you and your significant other come up with a plan of how you want to handle it.
