( Found here. ) It’s been 11 years for me since coming out to my family and friends. 11 years sounds like a long time, but I can still remember what it felt like to hide. I still remember the frustration I had in high school when I couldn’t hold my girlfriend’s hand walking down the hall. The worst part was how alone I felt when she left me.
