By ANDREA JARES The Fort Worth-Arlington area had the highest rate of home foreclosures in the state and among the highest in the nation during the first half of 2007, according to a new national analysis of metropolitan areas.Foreclosures hit one of every 57 households in Fort Worth-Arlington, ranking it 13th among the nation's top 100 metro areas, according to RealtyTrac, a California-based foreclosure-tracking service.Topping the list was Stockton, Calif., with one for every 27 households, followed by Detroit, with 29, and Las Vegas, 31. Dallas trailed closely behind Fort Worth-Arlington, ranking 17th, with one foreclosure for every 65 households.In Fort Worth and Arlington, RealtyTrac identified 13,221 homes in financial trouble in the first six months of 2007, a drop of 10 percent from the level in the first half of 2006.
