The August 2008 cover of Bon Appetit speaks for itself…I think I gained 2 pounds just looking at it. It’s nice to see refreshing summer-time treats, though (until recently, it was still winter-like weather in Seattle). This feature was especially fun, with 8 full pages devoted to ice cream recipes and “cool” pictures. The Frozen Orange and Amaretti Parfaits with Espresso Granita sound especially delicious, as it includes Grand Marnier. Any chance to mix dessert and liquor is always a plus. (One of my all-time favorites is raspberry sorbet topped with vanilla vodka.) Share some of your favorite ‘adult’ desserts….
