What is called the “Christian religion” is not always representative of true Christianity. I heard a preacher once say he attempted to witness to a woman who was sitting next to him on a bus. The woman said that she couldn't believe the gospel because of all the wars and killing done in the name of the “Christian religion” and all religions. I wanted to ask the preacher if he told her that Jesus is not the source of injustice, and that she was right to be so upset about all the injustice that she saw done in the name of Christianity. I know this doesn't excuse her unbelief, but perhaps just hearing that may have removed a hindrance to belief, and given her food for thought. Unfortunately, in the “Christian” mainstream media, true Christianity is misrepresented and many true Christians have bought the lie. If you read the entire New Testament you will find believers are hated, persecuted, and killed. They're not the one's doing the killing,
