Universal has created a MySpace page for Wanted, their adaptation of a Mark Millar graphic novel about a secret society of assassins and the young man who unwittingly becomes part of that. The page is surprisingly un-cluttered for a MySpace layout. The trailer is at the top and to the side is a really text-heavy synopsis of the movie’s story. I’m kind of amazed the studio thought the MySpace audience would stick around for that much text. After that is a photo gallery and then it’s on to the usual friends and comments. I wish more studios would resist the urge to add every little thing they could think of to their movie’s MySpace pages. Just because you CAN doesn’t mean you SHOULD. Just a thought.
