Vlad the Impaler Gets Bored....Starts to Hit Homers Again

by Jack Cobra, Cobra Brigade When Vlad Guerrero wants to homer, he homers....when he doesn't want to homer, he just hits the living crap out of the ball. This is his mantra in life and it should be yours as well. For the past month Vladdy has been fairly content with the Angels being in first place in the American League West. After carrying the team for the first half of the season and getting them into first place he decided he was going to let some of the other guys carry the weight for awhile. It's the least he could do, especially since the Angels are trying to get all of those top notch prospects to bloom like a flower in the Spring.Well, last night Vlad got bored and decided to start to hit homers again. Yes, homers...plural. After a 30 game, 125 at-bat self-imposed drought Vladdy decided it was time for him to do some yardwork.
