The closest I got was my "black" phase in the eighth grade, when I only wore black tops and a pair of hideously shredded jeans with Sharpie-scribbled quotes such as "Love is dead" and "Mediate". I'm pretty sure I listened to "Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS 1,245,000 times that year. Good times.Do teenagers still do this type of thing? I'm out of the loop.Well, punk's not dead after all!
