Hey everyone, Ryan here… Looks like Joe Carnahan has updated his website, including a nicely photoshopped image of L.A. back in the 1950s. This is what Carnahan had to say on the update: We’re not shooting WHITE JAZZ in outer Bulgaria or f*cking Toronto. We’re shooting it right here in LOS ANGELES. This is a photoshopped work-up of Hollywood and Vine circa ‘58. You’d be amazed how little you have to do to return that block to its former, period luster. Look close and check out the driver of that red sled. Look vaguely familiar? (If you can’t tell, the driver is supposed to be George Clooney.) So far, it seems as though things are beginning to shape up for the L.A. CONFIDENTIAL sequel to be one kick ass film. Carnahan is a skilled director, no doubt, and I can’t wait to see what he is able to do with WHITE JAZZ. [ Full article ] |
