California Vacation Rentals

About 6 years ago my husband and I decided to change over our business from unfurnished rental apartments to beautifully furnished vacation/corporate rentals in Hermosa Beach, CA. We have a prime oceanfront location and beautiful weather. We began this venture when there were very few people considering the vacation home rental business. One could say we were stepping out and taking a chance to see if it would become profitable. Our business income has increased about 1/3. However, we do have many more expenses. We completely remodeled all four homes, upscale. We made sure each home has its own high speed internet connection with wireless capabilities. We also offer plasma screen televisions in every bedroom and living area. The connection for the TV's is satellite, with all the movie channels offered. We pay for all utilities and other various necessities . Other expenses include, but are not limited to advertising & publicity. So, we do well, but it is a full time job.
