This morning when I woke up, I decided this was going to be Day 1 of what was going to be the most difficult challenge of my life. For as long as I can remember I have always had difficulty with my weight. For whatever reason it is, my weight has always bounced back and forth between perfectly skinny to squishingly plump. I have always blamed it on genetics, but when it comes right down to it, I am lazy. Once I get motivated, I am good, but it is getting up and moving that has always been the problem. I know better, I have been an athlete, up until two knee surgeries stopped that, and currently I am a lifeguard. However, when I woke up this morning, I knew it was time, time to get my butt moving. But did I? Heck no. Instead, I justified the fact that I was making an effort by making a list of things I need to do to loose weight. Gotta love how I lied to myself.
