Filed under: FightingThe attorney for UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk, who tested positive for steroids after his title defense at UFC 73, spoke about the process of appealing the positive test and insisted that Sherk has not used steroids:Although his lawyer doesn't come right out and say it, the implication of the interview is that Sherk's appeal will claim that there were problems with the procedures followed by the lab that conducted the test. Although UFC President Dana White has said he believes Sherk is telling the truth when he says he never used steroids, UFC will have little choice but to suspend Sherk for a year and strip him of his title if he loses the appeal.
