According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the Twins are interested in free agent David Eckstein. I imagine they'd use him as a shortstop, since they have a couple of second base options in Alexi Casilla and Brendan Harris. It's been said Eckstein is looking for a deal in the range of four years and $36MM. He reportedly turned down a four-year offer from the Mets earlier this winter. [ Full article ] |
