Yesterday I created a Facebook group for folks interested in talking about "Revitalizing The Children's Television Act For The Digital Age," inspired by recommendations in Sesame Workshop's report D is for Digital. There are 23 other members and counting. While that makes me happy, I have to admit I'm skeptical of Facebook groups being an effective tool for actually doing something beyond joining a group or becoming a fan (I'm just thinking about how little I actually participate in Facebook groups I've joined). Hopefully this one will be different -- and if anyone in the kids space wants to jump in and be the "leader" please feel free! USA Today's tech columnist Ed Baig has a nice wrap-up of the Sandbox Summit I attended at CES where he recaps the big questions and exhibitors and states "there are no easy answers" to a lot of the issues raised.
