God bless the Hairy Bikers. Not in general of course. I mean, if I meant it generally, I wouldn't have given them capital letters would I? Anyway, the Hairy Bikers' Cookbook (BBC2, Wednesday, 7pm) rode into my living room and left a moronic grin all over my face. In this brand newest outing for Dave Myers and Si King, they're hitting the road again in search of culinary delights and cultural adventure. Last night, I watched the boys tittering their way around Vietnam... even though Si had broken his foot. Not to be defeated, the boys cast aside their usual transport of motorbikes and decided to hop on the slow train to Hanoi. Keeping in the spirit of brotherly love, in Hue, we see Dave pedaling Si's rickshaw to the Emperor's Palace to cook up some posh rice and paddy-field pork... whilst in a monsoon.
