Condolences to my Greek Cook in the streets What I was missing this year compared to the last time I was in Kos, was the old lady sitting in the street where I went for a little stroll each and every evening. Seems the old yet generous lady is no more, so this post is in honour of her and her outmost Greek hospitaliy… Turkish Girls Last time I got invited by one of these lovely Turkish girls today! She must be twice my age: at least 80 years old and always sits on her doorstep each time after lunch I stroll around the little streets of my hotel. And each time I pass her doorway, I can smell a delicious smell of baked bread. So TheSkinnyCook wanted to know her secret: what’s cooking every day? To my amazement this Turkish woman spoke… Italian!
