The Kurdish party in the Turkish parliament, DTP, has accused the Turkish authorities of using chemical weapons against Kurdish guerilla fighters. 11 fighters were killed in one incident on 25th August 2007 at Uludere. Bodies of the Kurdish fighters have still not been released to their grieving families and there are reports of animals been found dead around the area where the incident took place.
