An outrageous editorial , filled with pomposity and fiction The Republic continues its pro-amnesty rant in today's editorial, titled Try, try again, exhorting congress to once again give the back of their collective hand to U.S. citizens who successfully rose up as never before to call a halt to the so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. Arizonans were in the unenviable position of having our two senators, McCain and Kyl, front and center on this calamity. Blaming everyone except the illegal aliens who invade our country in violation of our laws, the editorial quotes an open borders advocate of the sympathetically named Humane Borders, decrying increased summertime border deaths and Mayor Phil Gordon's apologist, Police Chief, Jack Harris. As to the unfortunate increase in the death toll of illegals venturing into the Arizona desert in the intense summer heat, the obvious answer is to stay home and stay safe.
