Around 7:00 am CDT, the eye of Felix made landfall near Punta Gorda, Nicaragua. Felix is moving west at 16 mph. Between Dean and Felix, 2007 is the first time two Category 5 hurricanes have made landfall in the same season. Some will sight global warming, but I’m not going to open that can of worms.
