NIDA students are out to beat the odds and prove all the world’s their stage, writes Louise Schwartzkoff.LOOK at these faces carefully: one of them could be the new Cate Blanchett or the next Hugo Weaving. Then again, as this year’s crop of graduating NIDA students have heard time and time again during their three-year course, they may well end up joining the 98 per cent of actors who are unemployed. After years of intense training, the 22 students are about to give their final public performances before graduation, a series of plays called 3 Reality Bites.
