I like the term The Data Web rather than Semantic Web thats currently being bandied about the blogosphere.There is an interesting discussion too found on Nodalities where both Tim O' Reilly and Nova Spivack discuss the Web of Data or the Semantic Web.I always have difficulty in explaining what the Semantic Web is, as there are many layers to it.I guess the simplest way to explain it is that its all about the data.A Web of data rather than a Web of documents.The basic foundation or Framework that will free up all the data thats out there is RDF or the Resource...Are We There Yet?
