Oh dear. It's been six long weeks. Christmas, New Year and assignment season have all come and gone, and not a single post to show for it. So let's start at the beginning and see where it takes us.Mid-December was my finest hour - the assessment gigs. Both of my bands played on the 14th, and they went amazingly well. Check out the Black Orchid Myspace for pictures and demo recordings of the songs we played that night. We played first so that they could all scoot off to Iron Maiden and miss what was, in my opinion, the best performance I've ever done. EVER. The Pink Socks gig was so much better than it was in the summer. It's amazing how having a good crowd in front of you can boost your confidence - well, that and the short skirt I wore and the consumption of many VHFs beforehand - and because we were last on everyone was hyped up and loving it.
