The Day Before Mothers Day

It's the day before Mother's Day and all through the house, everyone's stirring even the toad. OK so it doesn't rhyme but hopefully we have no mice but we do have pet toads, which I just remembered I have to buy crickets for today, yum. A mom's life is fun. This morning I woke up and was banned from the living room because my children were working on my Mother's Day gifts. It was all very sweet and pleasant but then came the tears. My youngest two (7 year old boy and 4 year old girl) who were actually working together nicely started fighting over what part of the picture to color. They're coloring a pirate poster for me, which will go well with my early Mother's Day gift of a head-band from the bathroom my daughter gave me. Little sister got mad and decided to throw marker caps at her brother and pull his hair. We had a time out and now they're trying to work together again. I'm sure tomorrow everyone will get along at least for one day. I
