Stephen Colbert has appeared on "Meet the Press" and other well-respected news shows to promote his presidency. Stephen Colbert has shown higher support in several polls than fellow Democratic candidates, including the likes of Bill Richardson and Dennis Kucinich. Stephen Colbert has followed the rules by completing all legal work and paying the requisite fee for becoming a candidate in South Carolina.Yet the Democratic State Executive Committee of South Carolina rejected Colbert's application to be listed on the primary ballot, asserting that Colbert is not considered to be a "seriously viable" candidate.The above evidence clearly shows that Colbert is quite viable and poses a serious threat to the Democratic establishment.
