Do women dumb down to attract men? Of course they do if you come from my generation, the Baby Boomers. I grew up in the sixties and seventies. An era of burned bras, the introduction of the birth control pill and the ERA. A time when LSD, Quaaludes and Opium were just drugs that the twenty somethings read about in their history books. A time of free love where the worst STD's were the treatable Gonorrhea and Syphilis. The physicians drug of choice, Penicillin. Where botulism was only known as a deadly bacteria from under cooked meat. Women stayed at home, took care of their husbands and bore children. Headbands, round rimmed glasses, Dick Clark and American Bandstand. Segregation and Degeneration. Integrating and picketing. Gloria Steinem and Marlo Thomas [That Girl]. The Twist and the Hustle. Those times were great. In the 80's an article came out in Newsweek that shocked the nation.
