The 17th Annual MTV Movie Awards are just around the corner, June 1st(live at 8pm eastern) to be exact. It will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Actor Mike Myers, who was honored at the show last year with the MTV Generation Award, will be the host. Several big stars are expected to attend the event. Lindsay Lohan, Steve Carell, Jennifer Hudson, and Jack Black are some of the celebs that will be presenting awards during the night. Movies like I am Legend, Juno, Knocked Up, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End are nominated for the famous Golden Popcorn award. And what is an MTV award show without music? Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls are a couple of the performers set to take the stage. MTV never fails to provide entertainment when it comes to their award shows, so dont forget to tune in and watch.
