It could get worse.Who would have thought that a state that was able to enjoy Barry Sanders, Mark Fidrych, and Steve Yzerman would have such a bad run? The state that brought us the Fab Five, the Flint-stones, and The Bad Boys has apparently angered the sports gods to the point where they now seem to be cursed. After the jump, we examine the events year-to-date:January 1, 2007 - It began badly on New Years Day, when the Wolverines from the University of Michigan were destroyed by the USC Trojans in the Rose Bowl, 32-18. Honestly, I watched every play of this game, and it wasn't that close.March 9 - On the same day, both Michigan and Michigan State are eliminated from the Big Ten Basketball Tournament.
