The media (I guess I have to include myself at this point don't I?) has a fancy name for every scandal that hits the news. This week it was SpyGate. From Sports Squee: The NFL has found conclusive evidence that Sunday, in the season opener against the Jets, a member of the Patriots staff was filming the Jets' defensive coordinator in an attempt to figure out the team's signal calling. A lowly cameraman does not make that decision on his own. He is told to do it. Especially after said cameraman produced false credentials for field access. And besides, this is akin to Randy Carlyle parking a camera on last year's Flyers' third defensive pairing in an attempt to crack their secret codes. So not only is Belichick a cheating cheater, he's a dumbass for trying to unlock the defensive secrets of a team that, it pains me to admit, they were going to beat, anyway. Was Bill Belichick cheating or was he just using the available technology? I have to admit, it seemed only slightly nefarious
