I have been riding my bike to work for the past year, now wouldn't Mr. Nobel-Gore be proud. I could use the excuse that I'm just trying to reduce my carbon footprint by replacing it with a rubber tire print. There may be a little truth to that, but for the most part I just enjoy riding my bike, and there is nothing like a riding a bike in the springtime. What you say? It is fall? Couldn't prove it the weather. As I rode to work yesterday it was 56 degrees out, with a light springtime-like rain falling. If it weren't for the leaves falling from the trees you would swear it was April. That begs the question that if April showers bring May flowers what do October showers bring? Actually they bring the same thing that April showers bring in Iowa, flooding. [ Full article ] |
