Scott Cummins is the PumpkinGutter, an artist who uses scultping tools to carve out three dimensional designs into his jack-o-lanterns. He still hollows them out and places a candle inside (or a 30 watt bulb), just like regular Halloween pumpkins, but as you can see from the Tiger pictured, the detail is far more advanced. He has a gallery of designs stretching back to 2000 and put together a DVD with time-lapse video showing how he creates them, which he sells online.
