Here’s an update on Emanuel Lewis “The Terminator” Cook. If you remember Cook was arrested for gun unlawful possession of a pistol in August, which is a felony. Of course being the strict disciplinarian that Steve God Spurrier is, Cook was suspended for less than a week. Now Cook must face the “The Man” to start the new year off in 2008. I wonder if opposing teams will ask that he be searched for weapons before lining up across from him. “South Carolina starting safety Emanuel Cook had a court date set for Jan. 24 after his arrest on a weapons charge. Cook, 19, of Riviera Beach, Fla., was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with unlawful possession of a pistol, according to a police report. The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in jail. He could also be fined as much as $2,000, said Lowell Bernstein, Cook’s attorney.
