Michael Imperioli, one of the main stars of The Sopranos, is joining ABC’s new drama, Life on Mars. He will assume the role of Detective Ray Carling, a sexist. The series, originally penned by David E. Kelley and is an adaptation of a British original, underwent a revamp after the latter left the production. It is scheduled to air after Grey’s Anatomy on Thursdays beginning this fall season.
