Obviously, the days of wool gabardine suits and pin-striped blouses were over. I'm pretty sure I spent the last month of my job waddling around hospitals and physician offices wearing gauzy crinkled skirts and short sleeved maternity tees. Darling for a beach barbecue, but a medical sales representative? Awkward.However, there were a couple of client meetings and weddings that I really wanted something special to wear and was willing to shell out a little (or a lot) extra.
