Nintendo of Europe and Australia added five new classic games to the popular Wii Shop Channel. The games went live at midnight CET on Friday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at stores like Amazon UK (Card). We’ve included videos for nostalgia’s sake or so you can see if it’s for you. This week brings 3 games (Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Crack Down, and ESWAT) that have not yet been released in other regions, much like PAL regions are still the first to have Kirby’s Avalanche, Mega Man, Vectorman, Wrecking Crew, Vegas Stakes, and Lunar Pool. This week’s new games are: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 introduced new character Knuckles the Echidna and gave Sonic and Tails new abilities and power-ups in their battle against Dr. Eggman (AKA Dr Robotnik).
