Sonali Bendre and husband Goldie Behl are very close to the Bachchan family. And it was infact at the music launch of Goldie Behl's Drona that Jaya Bachchan made her infamous statement about using Hindi language. Stepping out in the limelight for the first time since that incident, Sonali says that Jaya's remarks were casual and not intended at anyone. "It happened during Drona music launch and I was there at the event. It was just a casual remark. Obviously few people felt bad about that remark and that is why both Jayaji and Amitji have apologized. I think the matter over now and we should also put a full stop to it," says the actress.Sonali is also a close friend of Raj Thackeray but being a Maharashtrian herself, Bendre says she did not take any offence to what was said.
