This morning I am recovering from what seemed a lifetime adventure riding a big yellow school bus loaded with high school students who spent the day singing like angels on Temple Square. It was so much fun. These are good kids. While they were taking a group photo on the steps of Conference Center a woman who appeared to be unfamiliar with Temple Square asked who we were. I told her who and invited her to attend the upcoming concert at the Church Office Building. And she did. I think she enjoyed it. My favorite part was when Emily Ojuka (who could sing circles around anyone on American Idol) soloed in this great rendition of “Noel” and “Go Tell it on the Mountain” and the elderly ladies in the audience (who you could tell were usually quite contained) couldn’t help but clap along.
