We now have the first new piece of casting information for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! Jim Broadbent has been cast as Horace Slughorn. To quote the actor, "Slughorn is drawn back out of retirement because he's got some secrets Harry and (headmaster) Dumbledore need in the battle against the Death Eaters. "He's quite star-struck as a teacher, and he's drawn back into the fold because he likes to notch up celebrity students," Filming for the sixth movie has just started and it is due to be released on 21 November, 2008.
