Just in time, with California's February 5, 2008 presidential primary election looming and ballots to be mailed out beginning next week, , the California Voter Foundation (CVF) released its 2008 California Online Voter Guide. This nonpartisan resource covers not only Presidential candidates, but the 7 propositions Californians will decide--that would change school funding rules, legislative term limits and tribal gaming agreements. CVF's California Online Voter Guide features web site addresses and contact information for all of the presidential candidates on the state's ballot. The guide provides summary information on the propositions and includes a "follow the money" feature identifying the top three donors for and against each proposition. Important dates and deadlines, such as the last day to register to vote for the February 5 election (January 22) and instructions for how nonpartisan, "Decline to State" voters can participate in some parties' primaries, are included in the [ Full article ] |
