Sin and Punishment 2 sequel for Wii wanted by Treasure |

The latest issue of the American games magazine Nintendo Power has an interview with the famed shoot ‘em up developers at Treasure. The company recently had their Japanese N64 game “Sin and Punishment: Successor to the Earth” from 2000 put on the Wii Virtual Console by Nintendo, but with added English menu and tutorial text. Nintendo Power asks: “When we spoke a couple of years ago, you mentioned that you would like to do a sequel to Sin and Punishment. Has the team given any more thought to that? And don't you think it would be a perfect fit for Wii?” Masato Maegawa, developer at Treasure responds: “When we were originally working on Sin and Punishment [for Virtual Console], there was some discussion utilizing Wii-like controls, and I think now that we're working more with the Wii, it is something we'd very much like to try.” Treasure has different plans for a Wii game they’ve hinted about making and have talked about with [ Full article ] |
