Pegg to come aboard, Simon Pegg has been signed up to play Scottie on the next Star Trek Film. This was a good choice, I believe. My main question is whether or not Simon Pegg will adapt a Scottish accent when he plays the famous Scottish Engineer of the Starship Enterprise. But still, beam me up Simon, has a pretty nice ring to it. According to the Guardian Unlimited: Simon Pegg has been cast as the resourceful engineer Scotty in JJ Abrams's upcoming Star Trek film. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Pegg, he starred in the famous more-than-a-zombie film, Shaun of the Dead. If you haven't seen Shaun of the Dead than you should.
